Lake Mary, FL -- (ReleaseWire) -- 07/06/2018 -- A nonprofit organization that reaches children as far away as Uganda Africa is dedicated to stop bullying in schools and society at large is holding a Bully Proof Your Kids from the Inside Out anti-bullying training on Saturday, July 14, at Cork and Olive, Lake Mary, Fl.

The goal is to have a TAG 4 Change Ambassador in every school, home, church and community organization in Florida. Ambassadors will be a part of creating a generation of children who can believe in themselves rather than the mean words of the bully and have confidence and resilience in the face of adversity.

According to Marty L Ward, Founder of the 501c3 Nonprofit, Confidence Eliminates Bullying. Inc, "When kids are seen for who they are, they know they matter! When they know they matter, they are far less likely to kill themselves or other children."

According to the 2014 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 22 percent of students have been bullied on school property nationwide, 13.9 percent have seriously considered attempting suicide, and 10.2 percent of students did not go to school because they felt unsafe. Or one of every five students reports being bullied during the school year. Online, the percentage of individuals who have experienced cyberbullying has nearly doubled over the past decade.

This TAG 4 Change Ambassador Training provides a permanent solution to bullying by educating teachers, administrators, parents, and group leaders, on how to create confident, emotionally intelligent children, who make healthy choices for themselves and support their classmates. Students learn to honor and value who they are so that everyone becomes Confidence Boosters vs Fault Finders™.

"I love seeing so many people in this room being trained as TAG 4 Change Ambassadors. I want to see 100s more!" Deputy Kirk Geweniger, Student Resource Officer Brevard County Schools newly Certified TAG 4 Change Ambassador.

Ward, an author, former teacher and school-based social worker, says, "This new emotionally intelligent approach Bully Proofs Children from the Inside Out by focusing on the development of students' Talents, Abilities, Gifts (TAGs)™ so that they respect themselves and know their life and the lives of others matter."
